Digital Image Practice

So, I'm sure anyone who is as eagerly awaiting Golden Sun DS as I am will recognize the composition here. For all others:

This is actually a practice image for my Digital Illustration class. Our job was to as closely as possible replicate elements in our chosen image to recreate them in Photoshop. Because it's awesome practice.
So naturally, I pick what the professor blatantly pointed out was the hardest image I could've chosen.
Well, I went to my task. I got reference, created my background, drew my characters, and PAINSTAKINGLY added value in.
The result is this image. I think I did okay. I needed more time to add in the color, since I did the value in comparison to a valued version of the reference image, and thus didn't work a whole lot in color, but I choose instead to leave this where it is and move on.

Composition is COPYRIGHT of the respective artist who drew the original epic image for Camelot and Nintendo.
